Congratulations to Jennifer Barlow for winning last weeks challenge and a Starbucks coffee card! Yes, the correct place was Las Vegas!  I went there several years ago for a week.  I had a lot of fun.  My partner and I stayed at the Hooters Hotel and Casino.  I didn’t gamble much… only for the free drinks and to avoid the heat, lol.  I do want to go back again someday… maybe David will take me along during one of his work trips down there… ya, I doubt it :-(.  Anyway, here is a picture of the strip and a link to more info.

So for this week I am going to give away a gift card to Spokane’s new restaurant… Sweeto Burrito!  It seems like a good idea since they officially open tomorrow! I know some people who are very excited to try this place so here you go, Your first burrito could be on me! If you don’t live in Spokane and would rather a gift card for some other place just let me know and I will accommodate.  So this week has proven to be another successful week for me in Real Estate.  I sold another house! I sold one last week and another this week so I’m very excited! I definitely love what I do and seeing the smiles on my buyers faces and hearing the joy in their voice is really amazing.  I feel good knowing that helped get them there.  Anyway, enough of that.  On to this weeks challenge.  You know the routine… After reading this blog, go back to my Facebook post that brought you here and leave your guesses in the comment section. Week 13 of 52 Places in 52 Weeks

Wow! Gina Johnson won this weeks challenge for the second week in a row and the 3rd time since I started these challenges! Congrats Gina! You won a $10 gift card to Crispy Creme.  Now rub some of that luck off on me will ya? lol.  The correct place was the Japanese Gardens at Manito Park.  This is probably my favorite part of the park… So relaxing and beautiful. Well this week only had 3 people guess… does that mean it was a hard challenge??? On to my 13th challenge.  Ok, I’m going to make this one easy to hopefully draw some more people in.  By the way, I’m sorry to be posting this a day late.  I had a busy weekend yet again.  The housing market is HOT right now.  Homes are moving fast! I showed 10 houses to a buyer I’ve been working with for 2 months and we found one! I spent saturday night and Sunday negotiating a deal with the listing agent and we finally put it together late last night… well actually, it was officially finalized today.  Either way it was fun, exciting and again, I can’t wait for the next one! To celebrate this transaction I will be giving away the first Mini Superprize when the transaction closes.  It will be worth about $50… any ideas? Leave a comment on my Facebook post if you have any.  If not, then maybe I will do a seperate post when the time comes.  Closing takes about 45 days right now as our lenders are very busy in this market.  Ok, so I’m going to post the picture for this weeks challenge.  Again, I’m making this easy to hopefully draw in more guesses so this week I will be giving away another $5 Starbucks coffee card. Week 12 of 52 Places in 52 Weeks

The correct place was the Space Needle in Seattle Washington.  This is an amazing place to eat lunch or dinner and literally have a 360 degree of the whole city of Seattle.  Love the Views! What a beautiful weekend it was! Yesterday I had a nice relaxing day.  I haven’t had one of those in a long time.  The first part of the day I was being lazy.  Then around 1:00 my new laptop arrived by Fedex.  I purchased the laptop for Real Estate.  I am a Mac guy and I love my Mac but a lot of the programs I need for Real Estate are not compatible on Apple products.  So I bought a Dell for the business.  I spent about an hour or so setting it up and loading programs on it then did some spring cleaning on the second floor of my house. So it was a lazy but productive day at the same time! Today we went to the park up on 28th and Ray.  We took the dogs for some exercise and time in the sun.  We played frisbe and a little baseball.  It was a great day to spend time at the park and enjoy the beautiful weather. Ok, I know you really don’t care to listen about laptops and house cleaning so on to Week 12.  For this week I am going to give away a $10 gift card for Crispy Cream.  Who doesn’t like donuts??? Week 11 of 52 Places in 52 Weeks

Congratulations to Jeffery Behm for winning the drawing for last weeks challenge.  That picture was taken at the Grand Canyon.  David and I stopped there on our long Journey from Miami Florida to Spokane Washington.  It was one of our many stops along the week long drive and one of my favorites!  I don’t think I’ve seen anything so beautiful yet so mysterious.  A must see for sure! So for Week 11 I will be giving away another $10 gift card to AMC movie theaters.  This should be a pretty easy one again as it is a well known place and yet another place that I think everyone should experience at least once, especially if you live in the Inland Northwest!.  Its just a great experience and the views are amazing.  I am cooking something up for a good landmark that might be a little harder to guess for many of you.  I’m not quite sure where it will be yet but I am searching a few ideas.  Maybe I will spot something along the way of taking one of my buyers on a showing of some homes… Who knows, but when I finally decide on the right place that will leave many of you not quite sure, I will make it worth your wild.  And I’m thinking about a prize worth about $50.  It will be coming up in the coming weeks so make sure you check my Facebook every Sunday night.  Remember, posts are Sunday nights, guesses must be commented on the Facebook post no later than Friday night.  Drawings will be held and announced on Sundays.  A Super Prize will be given away to one lucky person at the end of the 52 weeks and I will also be giving away some Mini Super Prizes along the way. Yes, I know I have had to bend the rules a little but its only been my timeline of posting the challenge and when I draw the names for the winner.  But in my defense Real Estate is really busy!
